Privacy policy

Postmochi (“we”, “us”) is a sole proprietorship registered in India, at 05, Ward No. 1, Barapipar, Post Barapipar, Janjgir Champa, Chhattisgarh 495692, India. This policy covers postmochi.com, the Postmochi app at app.postmochi.com and every other app we operate, including Findr at findr.date. It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have. Write to privacy@postmochi.com with any question.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and sign in details, and the plan you are on.
- Your brand and content: what you tell us about your brand, the posts you make, edit, import or schedule, and the photos, videos and music you upload.
- Connected accounts: when you connect a social account, the access tokens the network gives us and the data listed below for that network.
- Payments: handled by our payment partner, who acts as merchant of record. We see your plan, billing country and payment status, never your full card number.
- Usage and device data: pages you open, errors and basic device and browser details, so we can keep the service working and secure.
Data from social networks
We connect to each network only through its official API and only after you sign in to that network and approve the access. We use the data only to show your accounts in Postmochi, publish what you schedule, reply where you ask us to and show how your posts did. We never sell it, never use it for advertising and never use it to train AI models.

Instagram, Facebook and Threads data comes through Meta’s APIs and is handled under Meta’s Platform Terms. TikTok data comes through the TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API.
YouTube and Google
Postmochi uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to theYouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove Postmochi’s access at any time from yourGoogle account permissions.
Postmochi’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Why we use it
- To run the service: make, schedule and publish your posts and show their results.
- To write post ideas and captions for your brand with AI, from what you gave us.
- To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To bill paid plans and send messages about your account.
We process your data to perform our contract with you and with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by disconnecting an account or deleting your Postmochi account.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that run Postmochi for us, under contracts that limit them to that purpose: cloud hosting and storage, an AI model provider that does not train on your data, email delivery and our payment partner. Publishing a post sends it to the network you chose. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
- Access tokens: until you disconnect the account. Disconnecting deletes its tokens at once.
- Data read from a network: while the account is connected; deleted within 30 days after you disconnect it.
- Your brand, posts and uploads: until you delete them or your account; then deleted within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days.
- Logs: up to 30 days.
- Billing records: as long as Indian tax law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data, disconnect any account and withdraw consent. The data deletion page shows how. You can also write toprivacy@postmochi.com; we answer within 30 days.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and only the publishing service can read them. Access to production data is limited to the owner.
Children
Postmochi is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Where data is stored
Our providers may store and process data outside India, with safeguards that protect it as this policy does.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date above, and for important changes we tell you by email or in the app before they apply.
